Pumpkin Pie!

Yesterday afternoon I got together with my roommate and two of our staffers to bake pumpkin pie, the American way! We didn't have all of the things we needed so we made up our own recipe! We had such an amazing time talking together and laughing! Here is the recipe, so grab a loved one and start baking:) 

Yields: 2 pies

4 cups mashed pumpkin

1 cup milk 

4 eggs

1 1/4 cup sugar

1 tsp Vanilla 

1/2 tsp Ginger 

1 tsp cinnamon 

Preheat oven to 425°, combine all ingredients, pour in a nonstick pie pan, bake for 15 minutes than without opening the oven turn it down to 350° and bake for 45 minutes! 

Let cool for 30 minutes

Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and enjoy!:)
