My heart rejoices
In your faithfulness oh God
Your love for me is more vast
Than all of the stars in the sky
Like the coolness of a welling spring
You refresh my soul
You drench me with your presence
It is you oh Lord that my heart yearns for,
In the droughts of summer Your rains poor down over all of the land
When I am alone and lost in the desert
Your voice is the clear northern star
Guiding me home
In the midst of my darkness you are there
Your forgiveness reaches to the depths of my despair
Your loving-kindness surrounds me
Like the warmth of a mothers touch
During my struggle, You are there
Upholding me in the palm of Your Righteous hand
Your grace for me goes deeper than the ocean,
Your mercy, higher than the mountain peaks
